ORIENTATION/SWIM TEST
This is required for all dogs in order to use our facility. Review of dog’s health history and assessment of dog’s swimming skills will be completed. Orientation to the rules/regulations and procedures will be done to ensure everyone’s safe use in and around the pool area. A maximum of 1 family dog is allowed per appointment. If the owner is wanting to bring in additional dogs, an orientation appointment will need to be made for each dog, this is for safety and to give each dog their own personal time with the trainers.
UNASSISTED RECREATIONAL SWIM
Unassisted Recreational Swim sessions are available in 30 minute appointments.
During the Swim Test, dogs must show that they are independent getting in and out of the pool to be eligible to use the Unassisted Recreational Swim service. No more than 2 dogs allowed in the pool at any time, NO OWNERS ARE ALLOWED IN THE POOL -there are no exceptions to this policy! The Pool area is monitored during the 30 minute session.
STAFF-ASSISTED SWIM
Our staff-assisted swim is available in 30 minute appointments. During the Swim Test if the dog needs assistance getting in/out of the pool, or may need help swimming then they are eligible for the Staff-Assisted Swim. 1 to 2 dogs are allowed for an Assisted Swim session.
Staff-Assisted Swim service can be used for:
- Building confidence
- Swim Lessons – puppy and adult dogs
- Dogs with mobility issues
- Dogs recovering from surgery/injury
** Dogs must be leashed when outside of The Water Bark. We have a large grassy area around our building; however, the Oklahoma Bike Path runs next to our property, along with private housing and you will be liable if your dog endangers anyone outside of our facility.**
